ADAMS UMTT at the World Defense Show 2026 – Riyadh

The World Defense Show, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for defense and security technology, took place in Riyadh from February 4 to 8, 2026. With tens of thousands of trade visitors, international delegations, military decision-makers, and industry representatives from over 70 countries, the event provided a unique platform for innovation, exchange, and strategic partnerships.

On behalf of Eurofighter Jagdflugzeug GmbH, ADAMS Simulation & Training presented the Ultimate Multi-Task Trainer (UMTT)—our highly mobile second-generation Eurofighter simulator.

An international stage for the UMTT

On February 2, 2026, our three-person team left our Wittmund office to set up and oversee the simulator on-site in Riyadh. After an intense week at the trade show, the team returned on February 15, 2026, with a wealth of new insights, valuable discussions, and new contacts.

The ADAMS UMTT attracted consistently high levels of visitor interest throughout the trade show. Representatives from air forces, procurement agencies, industry partners, and political delegations took the opportunity to experience the mixed-reality system firsthand.

Many visitors found the following particularly impressive:

• The realistic depiction of the Eurofighter cockpit and system logic
• The simulator's flexible, mobile deployment capabilities
• The integration of modern XR technologies
• The "Targeted Fidelity" Approach – Maximum Training Effectiveness Through Efficient Use of Resources

The UMTT impressively demonstrated what modern pilot training can look like today: networked, scalable, mission-oriented, and operationally relevant.
