Synthetic Training Solutions
Metrea Event in London
ADAMS at Metrea's Synthetic Training Solutions Event in London
Metrea's Synthetic Training Solutions Event in London: On October 24, 2024, Metrea Simulations hosted a high-profile event at its headquarters in London: the Synthetic Training Solutions Event offered guests from the UK Ministry of Defense, NATO partners, and representatives of the defense industry an impressive glimpse into the future of military aviation training.
NOR – Connected Training Taken to the Next Level
The event focused on the NOR platform, a state-of-the-art simulation solution from Metrea that stands out for its global connectivity, flexibility, and realistic visuals. In an impressive live demonstration, Eurofighter Typhoon and F-16 simulators, as well as JTAC (Joint Terminal Attack Controller) training systems, were networked together. What made this special was that the systems were not only connected locally in London but also to training stations in Sweden —a powerful example of multinational, networked training architecture.
ADAMS brings the UMTT into play
A special highlight: ADAMS Simulation and Training was invited to present the Ultimate Multi-Task Trainer (UMTT) for the Eurofighter. Our team demonstrated live how our mixed-reality simulator can be integrated into the NOR environment—with great success.
The UMTT combines virtual and mixed reality with a realistic cockpit replica, enabling intensive, tactically demanding training. In collaboration with Metrea and other partners, a dynamic, realistic operational scenario was demonstrated, which generated considerable interest among industry professionals.
Shaping the Future Together
For ADAMS, participating in such events is not only an honor but also a valuable source of inspiration. International collaboration, modular technologies, and a practical approach are the cornerstones of our philosophy—and that is exactly what was impressively demonstrated in London.
